For once, it wasn't raining tonight when fans turned up to see KingKing play at the 02 Academy Glasgow tonight. No lining up outside in the pouring rain, just the freezing cold. Weather does not deter us Scottish folk though. Make sure you've got proof of vaccination or lft testing though or they'll turn you around. If that's the only way we can attend live events then it is a small price to pay.
Hustled in and crowded into the venue, the fans waited eagerly for KingKing to arrive. KingKing is a British Blues Rock band formed in 2008 with 5 current members. The lead singer/guitarist Alan Nimmo burst onto stage sporting a bright colored tartan kilt, true to his Scottish roots and the crowd loved it, screaming the moment they saw it. They continued to play songs from their albums and the energy in the room was electric. It was my first time hearing them live and there was no disappointment there, there is nothing like a good old fashioned live rock band.
What is your favorite genre to listen to live?
