Wednesday night at the Crafthouse Stage and Grill was opened by local band, Yinz Seen the Butcher, a local Deftones tribute band who should not be surprised by their own success. Their high-energy set brought the early crowd to their feet and started the headbanging early.

The main performance was started by Deadlands, a metalcore band rising quickly in the scene and preparing to release their first full-length album in the next few months. Vocalist Kasesy Karlsen’s powerhouse vocals were on full display, easily moving from screams and growls through clean vocals and melodies while keeping the energy high by playing to the crowd. The band’s performance was tight, the group a well-oiled machine who knew how to please their die-hard fans. And this was not the first show of the tour many fans had attended. Deadlands has already grown a solid following and if Wednesday’s show is any indication, they have a huge career ahead of them.

Headlining the evening was the highly-anticipated Pinknoise. Their show opened with a bang and didn’t let up for the rest of the night. The crowd surged and sang along to every song, creating mosh pits or dancing along. This was not a show to leave early, and in fact many fans stayed long after the set ended, first demanding an encore which Pinknoise was happy to accommodate, and then to chat and take photos while stocking up on merch.

2026 has been Pinknoise’s year. Behind the scenes, they have collaborated with Magnolia Park, Scatterbrain, and Wind Walkers writing and recording. Their tour credits this year have included supporting Magnolia Park, True North, and Until I Wake, and upcoming shows this fall supporting Archers, Nate Vickers, and We Came as Romans. With songs playing on Sirius XM Octane and their relentless touring schedule, Pinknoise is set to take the emo and metalcore scenes by storm.
