The track is the latest off Huddy’s upcoming EP, Love Bites, due out on his 22nd birthday on May 15th – LISTEN HERE // PRE-SAVE EP HERE. Driven by a signature pop-rock sound, featuring thrashing drums and roaring guitars, "21" delivers irresistible hooks and bold lyrics that beg to be tattooed or sent in late-night messages. The track, marking the second release of 2024 from Huddy’s forthcoming project, encapsulates the exhilarating leap from adolescence to adulthood.
“21 represents freedom and growth from everything I've gone through in my life,” shares Huddy. “It's about letting go of my teenage self and allowing myself to grow up both physically and lyrically. It's an anthem for anyone turning 21, but it's also a coming-of-age song, capturing the feeling of being sent off to college or experiencing the world for the first time. For me, it's about moving to Los Angeles and discovering who I am and how I see the world. This song embodies the thrill of falling in love on your own terms. At 21, you've got to be open to love finding you, while also being ready to embrace it. The production flows effortlessly, mirroring the excitement and ease I feel as I embrace both growing up and my love life. Letting go has allowed me to express myself freely, whereas before I locked up my emotions and all the words I actually felt."
