Ohio quartet The Plot In You — Landon Tewers [vocals], Josh Childress [guitar], Ethan Yoder [bass], and Michael Cooper [drums] — have shared the video for their newest single 'Left Behind.' Watch it HERE or by clicking the image below. The song is gorgeously mercurial — shifting from upbeat to pensive to ballistic — and it nods to some sonic inspirations. It's also lyrically introspective, as is expected from the band.
"'Left Behind' was inspired by old nostalgic bands and artists I grew up listening to," says Tewers. "I wanted to make something as a tribute to that sound and hopefully elevate it. It's a song about gaining back confidence and hope after cutting off a person that was draining and moving forward with a fresh perspective." Last year, the band's 2018-released single "FEEL NOTHING" was officially certified Gold by the RIAA. The song is a digital success story that still streams over 2 million times and has enjoyed an exciting beyond-viral moment on TikTok. The track appears on the band's album DISPOSE. The Plot In You will return to the road this spring on the headline "Watch the Divide" tour with Holding Absence, Thornhill, and Banks Arcade in tow. To highlight the announcement, the band have dropped new single "Dynasty", complete with a stunning cinematic music video that has fast become their calling card. Listen to the track HERE. Watch the video HERE or by clicking the image below. Pre-Orders for 'Between Death and Dreams' will be live at 10am EST on Friday, February 10th HERE. Speaking on the brand new track, BRAND OF SACRIFICE frontman, Kyle Anderson adds 'A big challenge for me this year was to bring in some different elements on the emotional spectrum into our music and lyrics, not just despair or anger. I wanted to express some of my personal story through this song. Dynasty is more uplifting - it's about challenging yourself to overcome your personal obstacles while staring fear in the face and, much like Brand of Sacrifice as a whole, becoming an absolutely unstoppable force.' "Dynasty" follows the release of track "Exodus", the band's first new music in over a year, in November last year to much furore from fans. "Exodus", "Dynasty" and the upcoming EP mark the beginning of a new chapter of BRAND OF SACRIFICE. Maintaining their signature brutality and complexity, but upping it to a whole new level with a few surprises thrown in. BRAND OF SACRIFICE are currently on the road with We Came As Romans on their Darkbloom 2023 Tour. For further info and tickets, head to brandofsacrifice.com

The special month-long trek begins on April 14th in Atlanta, Georgia and runs through May 3th in Nashville, Tennessee. Support will be provided by Archspire, Signs Of The Swarm, and labelmates, Entheos. Comments guitarist Alex Wade: "We are excited to announce our first headlining tour in four years in which we will be playing our album The Valley in full. The pandemic cut our album cycle for The Valley short and we never had the chance to do a proper headliner for it, so we are finally making that happen with a roster of extreme and brutal bands to support this effort. We will also play an extended encore of classic bangers in addition to The Valley set so this is surely one not to miss!” Local presales will be available Wednesday, February 8th @ 10:00am EST General on sale date this Friday, February 10th @ 10:00am local time at: www.whitechapelband.com. Illinois-based band REAL FRIENDS have announced their brand new EP 'There's Nothing Worse Than Too Late' out 24th February via Pure Noise Records. To celebrate the announcement the band have release their brand new single 'Six Feet'. The EP, features previously released singles 'Tell Me You're Sorry' and 'Always Lose', was produced by Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, Neck Deep) and mixed by Kris Crummett (The Callous Daoboys, Knuckle Puck.) Listen to 'Six Feet' HERE or by clicking the image below. Pre-order 'There's Nothing Worse Than Too Late' - HERE Speaking about the new EP the band said "‘There’s Nothing Worse Than Too Late’ was written and recorded over the last year and half. We went back to some of our earlier influences for it. When writing, we kept referencing more timeless bands like The Starting Line, Taking Back Sunday, Jimmy Eat World and many others. It has always been important for us to write songs that are timeless, but that was in the front of our minds more than ever when compiling TNWTTL. We want our fans to go back and listen to these songs in five or ten years and still feel something. Lyrically it touches on depression, death, cutting long lasting ties for good and many other heavy subject matters. At the end of it all, if our fans feel less alone because of these songs then it’s a success in our eyes." The band spoke on the new single and said "‘Six Feet’ is a song about longing to be loved and appreciated while you’re still here. I always see and hear good things said about people after something bad happens to them or after they pass away. I think we all need reminders to appreciate our loved ones that are alive, healthy and right in front of us. This song is that reminder to ourselves and our fans." Soaring vocals, melodies, and heavy grooves swirl with passion and precision. Today, the band announces its self-titled debut, which arrives March 31 via Fearless Records. Pre-order it here. The quintet has shared the video for brand new single "What If I Fall." Watch it here or by clicking the image below. "I've always had a deep rooted fear of letting my friends and family down," says Pastor. "Even though I know they'll love me in the midst of my failures, the anxiety of it all buries me and pushes me further away from them. I hope this song can be an anthem for those who feel that same burden."
ABOUT ARCHETYPES COLLIDE:
ARCHETYPES COLLIDE demand repeated listening, mixing everything from Linkin Park and Bring Me The Horizon to The Chainsmokers, and Stranger Things-style retro synths, into a unique musical identity. A collection of singles and EPs drew a devoted fanbase and the attention of Oshie Bichar, bassist for Beartooth. Bichar enlisted his management, and the pair took Archetypes Collide under their wing. Soon after, SiriusXM's Octane got behind songs like "Your Misery," "Becoming What I Hate," and "Above It All." The band appeared on major festivals like Aftershock, Louder Than Life, and Welcome To Rockville, toured with genre giants The Amity Affliction, and crafted an ambitious self-titled debut album for Fearless Records. Archetypes Collide spent several weeks in the first part of 2022 making their inaugural full-length, with a super team surrounding them to execute their vision. Bichar produced alongside Nick Ingram (Dayseeker, Convictions, Hawthorne Heights) at Capital House Studio in Ohio. Additional production came from Jon Eberhard (Skillet, I Prevail, Until I Wake); The Plot In You frontman Landon Tewers lent a creative hand as well. The resulting album, mixed by Jeff Dunne (Ice Nine Kills, Wage War, Make Them Suffer), captures the vibrant spirit of the 2010s-era Warped Tour with a postmodern edge. It's a diverse but singular mission statement, brimming with authenticity and hope. ARCHETYPES COLLIDE aren't bound by preconceived notions or limitations. As single Kyle Pastor explains simply: "Why not take every shot, in every direction, under the umbrella of hard rock and metal?" The single is a gritty, punchy and action packed dance party that channels female rage, power, confidence, and autonomy all in one. Lyndsey says, ‘It’s a celebration of femininity, all shapes and forms, and a cathartic, guttural scream at the same time." LISTEN TO “GODDESS” HERE “Goddess” is the follow up to the pair of singles that PVRIS shared in late 2022 – “ANYWHERE BUT HERE” and “ANIMAL” (listen here). Together they served as a reminder of the range and multifaceted nature of Gunnulfsen’s artistry. Accompanying the singles was PVRIS’ first short film, directed by long-time friend and tourmate Jax Anderson. Watch the clip here. PVRIS has just embarked on a 13-date UK/EU tour, marking her first tour overseas since 2019. She is playing at London’s Eventim Apollo tonight and the tour concludes on February 10 in Berlin, Germany. This summer PVRIS is joining the Sad Summer Festival which kicks off in Jacksonville, FL on July 6 and concludes July 29 in Irvine, CA. Other markets include Philadelphia, PA, Chicago, IL, and Nashville, TN. All dates are listed below. Since the inception of PVRIS in 2015, Gunnulfsen has catapulted the project across genres via three critically-acclaimed studio LPs beginning with 2014’s debut White Noise (Rise Records) which earned massive commercial success on Billboard’s alternative charts and world-wide critical praise. PVRIS followed that with All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell which debuted in the Top Five of BIllboard’s Top Alternative Albums chart in 2017, in conjunction with momentous live debuts at Coachella, Reading and Leeds, and Lollapalooza. In 2019, PVRIS’ electrifying third studio LP Use Me was unveiled via Warner Records, featuring the Marshmello-assisted alternative radio hit, “Hallucinations,” and numerous collaborations ranging from American hip-hop artist 070 Shake, to British pop-powerhouse Raye. Throughout her career, Gunnulfsen’s dynamic vocal abilities and instrumentation transcend effortlessly across her largely co-produced catalog, from enchanting and angelic harmonies, to aggressive and gritty deliveries that rival some of rock’s greatest. Gunnulfsen has been showing PVRIS’s musical range since the start and continues to carve her own lane with this next release. PVRIS are currently embarking on her 13-date UK/EU tour, marking her first tour overseas since 2019.

The tour will see them play 11 shows and finish in the prestigious Alexandra Palace, London.
"Our upcoming UK/Europe tour, The Jaws Of Life Tour, will be the biggest undertaking in our band’s history." says Vic Fuentes. "This is the show that we’ve been dreaming about putting on for our fans ever since we started touring overseas. It’s a monumental celebration of everything that we have all built together over the years. Since this will be our first time playing in UK arenas and larger European venues, we are bringing everything we have at our disposal to create a special, memorable experience that our fans deserve. It was extremely difficult for us to be off the road and apart for so long. We've never missed anything more than playing music together and never had such a strong appreciation for recording, touring, and simply being in the same room together than we do now. The Jaws of Life is about how life can sink its teeth into you and try to devour you. The negativity in the world and within your mind can be a vicious thing. We're extremKely grateful for this record, our fans, and the opportunity to play live music again." Pierce The Veil have become iconic in their genre — and rightfully so. Their return has been fiercely welcomed, receiving press praise from Paper, Gawker, MTV, Ones to Watch, Yahoo, and more. Meanwhile, the first single "Pass the Nirvana" racked up over 13 million streams since its September bow. They've also debuted atop Billboard’s Top Rock Albums, Alternative Albums, and Hard Rock Albums charts twice – first with Collide With the Sky (2012) and its follow-up, Misadventures (2016). A decade after its release, the already platinum "King for a Day" shot to No. 1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Streaming chart, driven by the viral #KingForADay hashtag on TikTok. Even with two gold singles and a gold album, this coming year could be their biggest yet. Because this is the year of The Jaws of Life. The band Rolling Stone once described as "hyperactive, progressive post-hardcore," returns with album number five, full of fuzzy guitars, massive melodic hooks, and PTV's distinct emotional heart. The Jaws of Life is Pierce The Veil at their most raw —crackling with urgency and immediacy. Never predictable, always engaging, Pierce The Veil continue to soar on the strength of highly potent energy, rich musicality, and a scrappy sense of authentic exuberant ambition that's frankly unrivaled. Fuentes, Perry, and Preciado put volatile, angsty, confessional emotions into the music, which is why their songs resonated with so many. "No matter where the band performs, fans will show up," wrote Loudwire. "When you see Pierce The Veil live, you'll understand why." PTV's evolution from album to album is nothing less than stunning. The early buzz generated by A Flair for the Dramatic (2007) made its follow-up one of the most anticipated albums of 2010. Selfish Machines shot to No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. The Chicago Tribune saluted Collide with the Sky for its "post-hardcore punk with more than a few nods to Queen." They became a true arena act on Misadventures, selling out huge venues without losing the intimate connection with their fans. The Jaws of Life was produced by Paul Meany (Twenty One Pilots, Mutemath, The Blue Stones), and mixed by Adam Hawkins (Machine Gun Kelly, Turnstile, Twenty One Pilots). Deadly serious subject matter abounds, but Pierce The Veil enduringly navigates it all with grace. The lyrics continue the Fuentes tradition of painstaking honesty and clever twists of phrase. Pierce The Veil perform at the biggest festivals and is counted among the biggest and brightest of a younger generation of bands. But it all starts with the songs. The Jaws of Life is filled with the kind to keep the PTV fire burning forever.
