Angels & Airwaves Release New Song and Video 'Spellbound' Ahead of New Album LIFEFORMS Out 24th September
“If you try to run
If it goes it comes around
It’s not hard to die from love
When your heart has been spellbound"
A little over two weeks ahead of the release of their sixth album, LIFEFORMS, Angels & Airwaves release a new song and video titled “Spellbound.” The video, directed by frontman Tom DeLonge, uses a laser programming technique called laser banding to create a first-of-its-kind laser-walled cube that the band performs inside of. The song is their fourth new track this year and joins the six album songs, which to date have amassed over 48.6 million streams.
LIFEFORMS will arrive on 24th September via Rise Records as the band’s first full length album in seven years, and will be quickly followed by a US tour, beginning on 29th September 29 in Riverside, CA and touring the UK in March 2022. All dates below.

Fresh off their epic return to live performance at Slam Dunk Festival in the UK over the weekend, New York pop-rockers State Champs have dropped their latest high-energy single “Outta My Head” for fans. The video premiered alongside a live chat with the band last night and is now available to stream today at https://smarturl.it/ChampsOuttaMyHead.
“’Outta My Head’ is a faster, nostalgic, rooty one for us. Drawing inspiration from the early 2000’s, we tried to execute an ear wormy energetic tune that could have easily been heard on the American Pie movies soundtrack, or other rom coms alike,” shares lead vocalist Derek DiScanio. “If you’re not singing the chorus by the third time it comes around, well, just hit the replay button, I suppose.”
The band have also announced a UK tour for May 2022.
You can see the band at the following dates:
8 May Marble Factory Bristol
9 May Engine Rooms Southampton
11 May Electric Ballroom London
12 May Electric Ballroom London
14 May SWG3 Galvanisers Glasgow
15 May O2 Ritz Manchester
17 May Beckett Students Union Leeds

WALK OFF THE EARTH SHARES “THE DURIAN FRUIT SONG”,LEAD SINGLE OFF UPCOMING CHILDREN’S ALBUM ROMEO EATS VOL. 1
JUNO Award-winning Canadian indie pop band Walk Off the Earth has released “The Durian Fruit Song,” the lead single off their upcoming original 7-track children’s album, Romeo Eats Vol. 1, due out for release on September 24th via Golden Carrot Records/The Orchard. LISTEN HERE // PRE-SAVE HERE.
“The Durian Fruit Song” arrives today alongside the group's newly launched children’s web series, "Romeo Eats," a food discovery show hosted by Walk Off the Earth lead singer Gianni Luminati and his 3-year-old son Romeo who has an insatiable appetite for all things divine. Together with his wife and fellow WOTE lead singer Sarah Blackwood, the pair discovered Romeo's peculiar taste for interesting food organically, and decided to share his love of healthy food with their global fanbase with the hashtag #RomeoEats, which quickly became a viral hit.
In addition to original video content, each “Romeo Eats” episode is complete with an original song produced by Walk Off the Earth that features the explored food in question. Jams like “Caviare Super Star” and “Pomegranate Panet” are sure to be future family sing-along hits.
Walk Off the Earth shares, “We’re so excited to share Romeo’s genuine love for food with the world! We hope it inspires fans of all ages to expand their palette and knowledge of everything nutritious, delicious and suspicious! We had such a blast creating the music for the show. It allowed us to step outside the box and create within a new realm of music! We really think people are going to love the songs, the show, and of course, Romeo!”
Earlier this year, Walk Off the Earth delivered their sixth studio full-length album, Meet You There, that includes their latest Hot AC radio single, “Love You Right”, featuring GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum-selling Danish pop group Lukas Graham. The LP also features previously released singles “Nicknames” with gnash, which spent 20+ weeks at the top of Canadian radio charts, as well as “Oh What A Feeling,” “Anthem,” “How it is,” “this is love,” and “Farther We Go.”

Ontario, Canada – Bearings have released new song 'Get The Need,' the song is written with Kamtin Mohager of The Chain Gang of 1974 and Marshall Gallagher of Teenage Wrist. The song will feature on the release of a deluxe version of their Courtney Ballard (Good Charlotte, Waterparks) produced album, ‘Hello, It’s You’, out 15 September through Pure Noise Records.
Listen to 'Get The Need' HERE
Speaking about the new song singer Dougie Cousins said 'Get The Need was one of those songs where it just felt like a rekindling with youth. The leafs, revolver my favourite Beatles record, old rinks. I just think about those days riding around the neighbourhood with my best friend. Oh also, it’s fuckin rock n roll.'
Additionally, the deluxe version of the critically acclaimed record features 4 additional songs - see tracklisting below. The band previously released a cover version of Harry Style 'Golden' featuring Ryan Woods. Which you can listen to here.
Making these songs was sort of throwing it back to where we started." says Dougie Cousins (singer). "All of us in a room recording music and having beers. Guitars, bass, drums and a bit of singing. Had to remind people we can still rock."
Guitarist Ryan Fitz continues "Recording these songs was a really different process than any way we’ve ever created music for Bearings before. It was probably the most “DIY” recording process we’ve done in our professional career as a band. Everyone came down to where I live in Hamilton, and we self-recorded all songs in 5 days in a really nice (but small) studio I work out of here. This was the first time we had been together, even just as friends in a long time because of how many lockdown and stay at home orders we kept having in Ontario. I think it really shines through that we were having a fun time recording and arranging these songs and “Need” especially shows a more honest and dream rock sound that we’ve never really approached before. It felt really great to just be working on music together again"
1. Better Yesterday
3. Super Deluxe
4. So Damn Wrong
5. Lovely Lovely
6. Love Me Like You Did
7. Over Now
9. I Feel It All
10. Transient Colours
11. Get The Need
12. Champagne Over Noon
13. Dreams (Take Two)
14. Golden feat. Ryan Woods
The album follows 2018’s ‘Blue In The Dark’ (hailed by Alternative Press as one of the year’s best) and finds Bearings both deepening and widening their sonic palette: There’s a sharpened take on the classic pop-punk vibe the Ontario, Canada-based quintet – Cousins, guitarists Ryan Culligan and Ryan Fitz, bassist Collin Hanes, and drummer Mike McKerracher – have traded in since forming in 2014, the same mix of ebullient energy and undeniable melodies that have earned them respect and tour invitations from both new-school heavyweights like State Champs and legends like Less Than Jake.
While the world outside is certainly anything but sensical these days, Cousins and his bandmates have worked to mine their mixed emotions on their sophomore full-length.
‘Hello, It’s You’ deluxe is now available for pre-save now
New England rock band Four Year Strong have released a cover version of The Verve's 'Bittersweet Symphony'.
Speaking about the cover Dan O'Conner said 'We’ve always loved the song Bitter Sweet Symphony, it hold a lot of nostalgia for me. Makes me think of being 12 thinking I was cool, which I was not. Everything about the song is great, the melody, the hook, the beat, and the string part. They all live rent free in my brain. Being able to create something that feels like FYS and having great foundations to start with was very fun.'

TIGRESS release the new video for ‘F.L.Y.’ directed and produced by the band's very own Josh ‘JJ’ Coombes (FINCOTOWN productions) and features a hilarious cameo from vocalist Katy Jackson.
Tigress’ debut album ‘PURA VIDA’ is OUT NOW via Humble Angel Records. Fans listen/stream the album HERE, and purchase on transparent magenta vinyl and CD digipak HERE.
Speaking on their latest video, drummer and video director Josh Coombes comments: "The original plan was to have the band appear throughout each scene, while the couple does their thing. However, a few days before we started shooting, Katy called me from A&E to tell me she had just broken both her wrists and nose... I needed to think of a way around this because she wouldn't be able to perform... A few scenes were re-written, some got scrapped while new ones went in, and we were good to go!" Coombes teases: "We all wanted Katy to still be a part of it in some way, of course, so she has a little cameo in there somewhere… you’ll have to watch it to find out what it is!”
Katy comments on the themes of ‘F.L.Y.’ adding: "I wanted to write a real love song about what it's actually like to be in a relationship. Most love songs are written about a new and fresh love. I'm in a relationship of 14 years, and this is the reality of what it's like. It's the truth and not a fantasy of a relationship." Jackson concludes "You don't wake up looking longingly in each other's eyes... F.L.Y. is a gritty badass love song."
‘PURA VIDA’ was recorded and produced at BLACK BAY STUDIO by Grammy award-winning engineer Adrian Bushby (Muse, Foo Fighters, Black Peaks, Everything Everything) and mastered by Harry Hess (Billy Talent, Architects); ’PURA VIDA’ holds a magnifying glass up at a world that values one-click filters over reality, and that celebrates youth and beauty above much else, highlighting and confronting the destructive impact of societal expectation. From the falsity of social media to external pressures on women’s bodies, ‘PURA VIDA’ delivers an unfiltered view of modern adult life while seamlessly combining elements of grunge, desert rock and indie as its backdrop.
“The album is about confronting everything you don’t like about yourself, turning it into something you love, and leading a pure life from there,” vocalist Katy Jackson explains, crediting its title to her trip to Costa Rica. Splitting her time between an isolated beach hut and the Central American jungle, it allowed her to truly disconnect. “That trip changed me,” she recalls. “It made me realise how I was so self-absorbed. It made me think I wanted to live a purer life.”
With that, ‘PURA VIDA’ is a product of experience. Not just an eye-opening trip abroad, but a collection of observations that younger artists could not land on. "I had experienced life at its fullest and most connected and then dumped back into such a lonely and isolated existence.”

HOT MILK have released yet another brilliant new single "Split Personality"
taken off the highly anticipated new EP out 10th September 2021 on Music For Nations.
"Well well well...... this song is about getting lost in the bubble-gum delirium of living in a city where naughty temptation is a constant wolf at the door." says Han Mee. "It’s about the mood swings between wanting to get absolutely annihilated or having a nice roast dinner and a pot of tea. It’s about being caught up in an atmosphere of wanting to see how far we can push our bodies and wanting to be sedated. Like who even are we? I don’t know…"

The band recently dominated both Reading & Leeds festival and Download Pilot to rapturous reviews and an ever growing audience, all ready for the forthcoming EP 'I Just Wanna Know What Happens When I’m Dead'.
The EP was produced by co-vocalist Jim Shaw & lyrically explores a more personal approach with the band bottling the anxieties and frustrations of their everyday lives. ‘Woozy’ openly tackles depression, ‘Good Life’ takes on societal corruption and the distribution of wealth, while elsewhere the band address the pursuit of happiness in a modern world.
“These songs are honest,” says Han. “I have nothing to hide. It’s the world we live in, it makes people sad. Capitalism. Is it broken? 100 per cent. I’m angry that the fact that we’re sold a world that actually doesn’t make you have inner peace. Humans need love and community and a lot of the time, there is no love and the community has dissolved.”
“We’re angry, both politically and existentially in terms of the system we now live in. But also, we’re angry at the fact that we’re sad quite a lot,” continues Han. “But we’re trying to not just sit there and take it. We’re trying to fix it, by building a family through this band.”
“Life is fragile,” says Jim. “You can’t take things with you, but you can make the best memories. That’s the most important thing in life. Your currency is your memory. What you can take with you is something that absolutely makes the blood pump round your veins and gives you goosebumps,” agrees Han. “That’s what this band is to us. It’s our passion. That’s what this EP is about.”
I JUST WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I’M DEAD
I Think I Hate Myself
The EP comes with an exclusive range of pre-order merchandise and a limited pressing of heavyweight purple opaque vinyl & CD options too.
Los Angeles-based R&B star Sinéad Harnett has released a new visual in support of slow jam “Distraction” off her highly praised sophomore album, Ready Is Always Too Late, out now via The Orchard. CLICK HERE to watch the video directed by Ana Tanaka.
Sinéad shares, “Distraction is sassy af, with an empowering nod to the people who are tired of trying to keep their partner’s attention. It’s playful and fun, but with an underlying vulnerability.”
Earlier this year, Harnett earned herself a highly coveted spot in YouTube Music’s selective Global Foundry Class of 2021 artist development program, shared her stunning cover of Aaliyah’s “At Your Best (You Are Love)” in honor of the late singer’s birthday, and was featured on Femme It Forward and Live Nation’s Big Femme Energy, Vol. 1 compilation LP (“Crown”) alongside fellow leading female R&B acts Kiana Ledé, Baby Rose, Ambré, Rapsody, Tierra Whack, Tayla Parx, and Lauren Jauregui. Sinéad was also spotlighted in People Magazine’s list of emerging artists to watch in 2021.
Featuring collaborations with EARTHGANG, Lucky Daye and Masego and VanJess, as well as singles “Last Love” and “Hard 4 Me 2 Love You,” Harnett’s second studio album Ready Is Always Too Late celebrates her journey to embodying the best version of herself. Empowering songs with messages around individualism and unity exist alongside vulnerable snapshots of Harnett’s less confident past self, painting a picture of evolving self-worth that requires time and care to cultivate, all the highs and lows included.
“Ready has often been an excuse, and one I didn’t want to use anymore,” Harnett says. “I wasn’t ready to be proud of the skin I was in, to find my inner confidence or to truly practice self-love. But I’m doing it now and it’s an ongoing, crazy and unpredictable journey that I’m grateful for.”
Born to a Thai mother and Irish father, Sinéad Harnett is a Los Angeles-based R&B singer and songwriter born and raised in London. Harnett started to find her voice while participating in talent shows at a local university, and the reception she received was so overwhelmingly positive that she committed to building her confidence on the stage and making the leap toward a career in music.
Harnett did everything from making bands with friends and performing on campus to recording in grungy studios and uploading demos on YouTube, eventually leading to 400 million lifetime streams and collaborations with high profile producers such as Disclosure, Kaytranada, Rudimental, GRADES and Gallant. Harnett’s 2019 debut album, Lessons in Love, found the bonafide R&B star in a deeply introspective place, learning to acknowledge and accept patterns in her romantic relationships to grow from them. The album produced the breakout single “If You Let Me,” which has surpassed 75 million streams on Spotify alone.
Sinéad is more visible and self-assured than ever before on her sophomore album Ready Is Always Too Late, which made a splash across press, DSPs, and social media upon release including: 17 New Music Friday Spotify placements, critical praise from outlets like NPR ("Best Music of May") and PEOPLE Magazine ("Artist to Watch in 2021"), and earned recognition from notable artists like Khalid, Elton John, Demi Lovato, Rita Ora, Ella Mai, Jessie J, and MNEK to name a few.
Watch Sinéad Harnett’s new video for “Distraction” HERE off her sophomore album Ready Is Always Too Late available now across all digital streaming platforms.
