How did the band come to be?
I actually posted an ad on Craigslist for a singer.  Found a singer. Singer found not one, but two great guitar players.  Singer found a drummer. We fired the singer. Drummer found a new singer (Asim Rizvi).  An amazing turn of events! For the last 10 months it has been a dream come true. Glad we hired and fired that singer!

Do you have any releases coming up in the new year?
YES! LifeCycle is all about releasing new content constantly!  We just released our debut self titled single "Lifecycle". IT is now available on your favorite streaming service. At the same time, we have a episodic series on YouTube called "A day in the LifeCycle".  That Youtube series takes you behind the scenes and shows you just how absurd and ridiculous the band can be at times. Next up is a follow up single called "Burnout" which will drop March 2020.

What is something you want listeners to take away from your music?
Our music will train you on how to become a ninja.  If you listen to our new single, "Lifecycle", it will transport you into a state of delirium.  Seriously though, its a fair question. I would say the band wants you to feel satisfied that you didnt waste your time listening.  Time is really important and we appreciate the time everyone takes to check us out.

With everything that is going on in our world what is one cause or organization that you are passionate about?
The band volunteers to play for ANY charity event.  To answer your question directly, its not one cause or org....its all of them.  We really want to donate our time and help if anyone is interested. Please reach out to us at  lifecycleband@yahoo.com

What is your writing process like?
Five voices, Five opinions, and everyone gets it.  The band is riff based, probably like a lot of other bands.  Typically , for us, its music first and then the lyrics. Kevin(Guitar) and Joe(Guitar) have a million riffs....literally.  The band starts to jam the riff and then it takes shape. Once we have a framework, Asim (singer) takes over and write the lyrics to that framework.  The song literally keeps growing until we record it.

To follow up with the last question, what inspires your sound?
Pizza.  Pizza and Pecan Swirls......ok, inside jokes but really we inspire each other. The band has five strong members. Each person brings their own life to the band and therefor has a different or similar twist on things.  Overall , the biggest inspiration for our music is LifeCycle itself.

Any tours coming up soon?
We are relatively new even though some of us have been touring for years.  For now, we are not touring but we are open minded. The band is currently recording, playing live shows a couple time a month, and promoting.  It is a marathon not a sprint so we are OK for now but the touring part should start soon.

Anything you would like to tell our readers?
Id love to give everyone some important links.  LifeCycle appreciates the time given to us and we don't want to waste yours!  Feel free to check out https://www.lifecycleband.com/ for your one stop shopping needs!  The website has all our info, links, bio, music, and live show dates listed. We also want you to check out spotify https://open.spotify.com/album/6YpOfgtAr25wBEmul0xyuM?si=B1FoFnpITW-aYgc7K3Il0g If you like our new single spread the word! One more thing if you like comedies....our Youtube channel has a episodic series called "A Day in the LifeCycle".   It shows you the behind the scenes insanity of the band. Its ridiculous at times.
