Aly and AJ brought their Sanctuary tour to the Fillmore in San Francisco on December 3rd.

It was an energetic night with the group performing many of their classic songs and some newer songs from their recent EP Sanctuary. They also sang some Christmas songs in honor of the holiday season. Aly and AJ also teased some new music that is coming out next year and shared how going on tour inspires them to write new music.

A special treat for the night was when they performed “Bullseye,” a song that they released in 2007 and have only played live three times in 12 years.

Aly and AJ are also huge supporters of the LGBT community. They performed their song “Good Love,” a song that means a great deal to them, which they released last year during Pride month. Before they began the song, they asked everyone in the crowd to sign a petition for the Trevor Project, an organization that is helping to end conversion therapy. They also said that one lucky fan who had signed the appeal would get to hang out with them backstage after the show.

To end the night, they performed their most famous song, “Potential Break Up Song.” Everyone in the crowd sang along to the tune and felt they were somehow transported back to 2007.
