Billy Idol will certainly be missed by his Vegas fans now that his short residency at The Chelsea has ended. When someone like Idol comes to town it isn’t really a moment you want to miss. He is one of the great’s. One that everyone aged 18 to 80 knows, and to be able to experience that live now, after we thought his most iconic performances had ended, is a pleasure. This particular set started with everyone’s favorite “Dancing With Myself” and while amazing it created a nostalgic feel in the room. We were all getting prepared for the night ahead. He played some new music too, like “Cage”, which we were lucky to hear and amazed me with how personal he got with the audience. It was such a surreal experience getting to be so close to such an icon. This is a night I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. I could tell it will be the same for a lot of people who were at shows tonight. There were some people who had seen him live when they were all young, and young people like me who had wished we were alive to experience it then and feel so lucky we get to experience it now.
