The show started out with a local artist Brian Genovesi, he warmed up the crowd with a few great hits. Although there were people at the bar being rowdy and talking over his playing he didn't let that discourage him, by the end of his set he had people singing along to the chorus. Up next was the tours opener Starbenders. They were firecrackers on stage, jumping around singing their hearts out and putting on a spectacular show. My first impression of them was a little off, wondering how their sound paired with the headliners but soon it hit me that it didn't really matter, they were great and people needed to hear them. The show wrapped up with Danny Worsnop. It was nice seeing the lead singer of Asking Alexandria in a different element. Instead of playing to thousands of fans in sold out venues with his mates, he was playing at the Crafthouse to a couple hundred people. My favorite part of the set was when a fan yelled at him to play a specific song and he stopped what he was doing and I hit them with the A. I am not a jukebox and B. The set list tells me what to play, definitely have me a little laugh. Whether playing with his mates or performing with his solo act he know how to entertain a crowd.
