When attending Rockstar Energy Presents Disrupt fest, you think Warped tour because it has bands like Sum 41, Thrice, The Used, Atreyu, Circa Survive and those are just the headlining bands! Besides great music, there were also free Rockstar Energy drinks and a ton of great vendors all around. Two opening band that caught my attention the most when attending this festival were Hyro The Hero and Juliet Simms. Hyro The Hero stuck out to me because of the amazing performance they gave. The lead singer, Hyron Fenton, doesn’t just sing and rap but performers during the set. He jumps around, climbs up the stage and is just everywhere! Juliet Simms is another person to keep an eye on because she has an amazing vocal range like no other! One headlining act that stuck out to me was none other than Sum 41. I have been a huge Sum 41 fan for as long as I can remember, so seeing them and being able to shoot them was really awesome! Deryck Whibley literally blew me away this show as well, he had so much energy, and it was really awesome to see! Disrupt fest here in Detroit was a success in my opinion, and I hope that this tour continues and expands!
