Fall Out Boy 'MANIA' | Album Review

Released earlier this year, Fall Out Boy are back and more different than ever with a new sound; one that is part-electronic and part “old-style” Fall Out Boy that fans love so much. “M A N I A” was supposed to be released in September 2017, but was pushed back to January of this year because the band felt the album was rushed and was not ready for release. “Young & Menace” was the first track released from the album and got mixed reviews because of the new sound. Many people that I know personally have said they stopped listening to Fall Out Boy specifically because of the release of “M A N I A.” They said it was too different, too modern, had too much autotune and was a sound they couldn’t get used to because they like the “old” Fall Out Boy. Personally, I love the album. I think Fall Out Boy did a wonderful job exploring things that they haven’t tried before. Music is all about exploring and finding a new sound.
If you haven’t listened to “M A N I A” yet, go check it out!
