On Thursday May 9th Pittsburgh’s Northshore was in full swing again. The lineup for Stage AE was stacked with some great artist. Falling in Reverse, Ice Nine Kills and New Years Day brought out an amazing crowd. New Years Day opened up the show with some killer tracks off their new album and of course everyone’s favorites. Ash really know how to get a crowd going, even taking a break mid set to acknowledge some of the heinous things going on towards women and how we all need to work together for a better society as equals. Up next was a band I have only heard about but never listened to, From Ashes To New came out on stage and at first was only two member their drummer and one of their singers, he went on for a little before the rest of the band joined him on stage. For not knowing a single song from them it definitely wasn’t a letdown, I enjoyed their energy and musical talent. Then was Ice Nine Kills, they started off their set with so much energy and carried it throughout the whole act. They were nonstop adrenaline, playing all their hits off their most recent album that any horror fan will love. Last to hit the stage was the headliner Falling In Reverse. The crowd roared with excitement when Ronnie hit the stage, straight off the back he’s pacing the stage and singing everyone’s favorite songs. At one point I stepped off to the side to catch a breath of air and here comes Ronnie walking down the side walk way to the pits floor, let’s just say I didn’t get too long to catch my breath before fans swarmed around me to get a chance to see the artist. Overall this show was a pretty great time and as its wrapping up if they’re in a city near you I recommend going.
