Let me take you back to January of 2020. Pre-covid. Pre-shutdown. I was introduced to a band that I had never heard of. Magic Giant. That show made me a fan. They were electric on stage, fun and their energy was contagious. Flash forward to last Saturday. I get the opportunity to photograph them again. The band was just as energized as I remember. Fronted by Austin Bisnow, Magic Giant is a show that must be experienced. Guitarist Zang will wear you out just by watching him. Trombone player Quinn Carson was obviously happy to be back in the South. And drummer Lenny the Ox and bassist Jesse Schuster kept the beat going. Now that live shows are coming back, do you need a recommendation? Magic Giant. You won’t be disappointed.
