Glasgow was excited to welcome Mason Hill to play at The Garage for their Against The Wall UK Tour. The atmosphere was incredible, for some people (including me) it was their first concert in around two years and so many were fueled by the feel of being in a packed venue with live music again. This was the second night of this huge UK tour for this Glaswegian rock band. They opened their set with Reborn, No Regrets and quickly followed it with DNA. The night was still young and the crowd showed no signs of calming down. If you have listened to Mason Hill through any streaming apps or online then you would know their sound, let me tell you that this music sounds 100% better live. Nothing can beat it. The band kept up their energetic movements and didn't seem to falter, constantly engaging with their fans who also kept the volume of the venue at an all time high, I'm glad I brought my ear plugs. One of my favourite moments was when they picked up The Foo Fighters song Best Of You, everyone loves a bit of Foo Fighters and this crowd was no exception They closed off the show with the tour and album title - ``Against The Wall" which brought the house down with the enthusiasm from both the band and crowd. Teasing us with an encore, they played one final song - Where I Belong, which started as a very emotional solo with lead guitar and ended with the entire band giving it their all for the final time that night. It was the perfect end to the show. If you have a ticket for the rest of the tour, I can tell you that it is going to be a blast! Coverage by Tyler Sams
