Panic! At The Disco’s 'High Hopes' | Single Review

The third single off of “Pray For The Wicked,” will have you feeling like you’re one in a million...literally, one of the lyrics is “didn’t know how, but I always had a feeling I was gonna be that one in a million.”
This high-energy anthem tells last man standing Brendon Urie’s journey of remaining positive through his struggles, because despite Panic! At The Disco’s booming success, they’ve had their downfalls, such as financial issues and losing members throughout the years. Instrumentally, the track is fast-paced which goes hand-in-hand with Urie’s vocals that can be recognized from literally anywhere, even if you are not a Panic! At The Disco fan. So far, I think “High Hopes” is my favorite song off of “Pray For The Wicked” because of the messages behind it.  It not only encourages you to keep moving forward despite your circumstances, but pushes you to never stop making your dreams happen no matter how big they are. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the album and have it on repeat for the next month after its release date. “Pray For The Wicked” drops on June 22 and the “Pray For The Wicked Tour” kicks off on July 11 in Minneapolis, Minnesota! Don’t have your tickets yet? Head on over to Ticketmaster now to get yours, and get ready to Say Amen!
