On Thursday, October 10th, Skillet made their fans want to “Rise up” with joy and excitement at their show. Skillet was celebrating the release of their 10th studio album called Victorious! While playing songs off their new album, they also played some old classics like “Whispers in the dark”(Comatose), “Monster” (Awake), and even “Awake and Alive”(Awake). John Cooper of Skillet, Singer and bassist, came out and CO2 cannons attached to his arms as he sang “You Ain't Ready” from their new album, Victorious!
The crowd for this show a crowd of mixed ages which is awesome to see the younger fans coming out to sing along! Especially during “You Ain’t Ready”(Victorious) and “Feel Invincible”(Unleashed). My absolute favorite part is when the Cellist, Tate Olsen, came out and started playing “Not Gonna die”(Rise). It was great and I love how Tate Olsen came out and went right to Seth Morrison first and had a cello/guitar off. Overall all the concert was a 10 out of 10. I always recommend seeing Skillet because they know how to have a great time on stage and you can tell that they really do love what they do when they perform at a show!
