If you are a hip-hop fan living in the Columbus area and you weren’t at Skully’s Music Diner this past Thursday night, you definitely should have been. Not only is Skully’s a great venue, but Celebrity Etc. was the promoter for the night and you can be sure that it will be a great show when they’re the ones putting it on. Thursday night concerts always have the potential to be a great start to your weekend, but attending a Thursday night show at Skully’s Diner is almost guaranteed to be an intense and intimate kickstart to the weekend ahead. And Skyzoo’s performance there on October 24th was no exception. From the second Skyzoo stepped onto the stage to when he exited after his set, the energy he brought to his performance and to the entire venue was something you had to be there to believe. Not only did this emcee stay constantly moving, he also interacted with the crowd throughout his entire set.

No matter what song Skyzoo performed next the crowd continued to match his energy and hype him up, taking this concert experience to the next level. His consistent flow and passion behind the mic takes Skyzoo as an artist and performer to the top of live performers in the hip-hop genre. When you are attending a Skyzoo show you can see and feel the amount this emcee cares not only about his music but also those who call themselves fans of him. Skyzoo is exactly what he sounds like. An emcee, a pure hip hop artist who has nothing but passion for the music he creates. Using only his own music and energy he showed Skully’s the perfect example of a hip-hop showcase for a Thursday night show. If you have the opportunity to see Skyzoo live, you should absolutely take it. Especially if you are lucky enough to catch him at a smaller venue like Skully’s where you can feel the passion and energy he brings to the stage in an intimate environment.
