This month Sleeping With Sirens brought their "How It Feels To Be Lost" tour to the UK and on the 6th November they put on their show at The Garage in Glasgow. Prior to entrance the street was filled with fans who were eager to get in and out of the rain to listen to some awesome live music.
The atmosphere was electric as the band walked onto stage in the pitch black, fans screaming with anticipation from the barriers, and opening with "Leave it all Behind" which is the name of the first track of their new album as well as the album title. Soon the hall was filled with the vocals of lead singer Kellin Quinn and accompanied by the talented guitarists Jack Fowler, Nick Martin and Justin Hills with Gabe Barham on drums.
They continue to play a mixture of songs from their past albums as well as a few from their newly released album. In the middle of the set they slow it down and introduce some acoustic songs which he sang solo along with Nick Martin on the guitar before ramping it back up to 100 with Blood lines and Medicine.
The band as a whole were really interactive with the crowd throughout the set which is something you don't see that often. Smiling into their camera phones, giving people waves and throwing their plectrums at their adoring fans for keepsakes. I truly enjoyed this performance and can only hope that they come back to the city again for another headbanging concert.
