Taylor swift | Show Review

After 19 songs, six acts and so many outfit changes that I lost count after awhile, Taylor Swift put on a show that was unforgettable and visually pleasing. Fans of all ages were given interactive wristbands at the gate. During the show, the wristbands lit up and changed colors at all different points - making the experience truly interactive. While these were given out to add to the effect, it was also done because the reputation Stadium Tour is Swift’s first-ever full-on arena tour and she wanted to be able to see every single person in the crowd. Songs off of her newest album “reputation” were played, but so were a lot of her older songs like “Hey Stephen,” “Love Story,” “Should’ve Said No” and “Shake It Off.” As if the wrist bands were not enough, Swift also had back up dancers and all kinds of props. There were three snakes that came up from holes under the stage. One appeared during “Look What You Made Me Do,” and the other two appeared on the smaller stages in the back during “Shake It Off.” Of course, Swift had to get to those two stages in the back somehow. During “Delicate,” she stepped inside a crystal ball like structure and slowly floated across the crowd. On her way back to the main stage, she stepped inside a snake like skeleton which carried her across the crowd. Overall, the show was absolutely incredible. Not only is Swift an incredible performer, but the visuals and the props add to the overall experience of the show.
