The lights dimmed and the crowd let out an almighty scream when Palace strode on stage

Why does it always feel like I am reporting that it was another rainy day whenever writing a review for a gig in Glasgow, Scotland? Probably because the rain is a constant thing here in Scotland. Anyways, as you might have grasped, it was a miserable night but it didn't deter anyone from attending the SWG3 to see Palace last Thursday night. It was my first show this year since restrictions were opened again. It was good to get back into the familiar atmosphere and with people who enjoy live music as much as I do. Before I knew it, the room was packed to the brim (or as full as restrictions would allow) and it was soon time for the main act to arrive.

The lights dimmed and the crowd let out an almighty scream when Palace strode on stage and there was no delay in starting their night with a slow start but quickly building it up so that the crowd were in full swing. They played songs from their most recent album and some older ones, every one being sung along by the fans. Truly a great night and an even better feeling to be back with live music, let's hope that it is here to stay!
