The wait is finally over. Twenty One Pilots are back with new music, a new music video AND A TOUR. What a day to be alive. To make things even better, they’re back with a new logo. That’s right...this time, it’s yellow. The two new songs “Jumpsuit” and “Nico and the Niners” are both about a fictional city by the name of Dema, according to music lyric website Genius. Dema is a city that represents depression. The bishops that are in the city prevent people from leaving, kind of like how struggling can prevent someone from getting help. “Jumpsuit” begins with a heavy bassline and then transitions into a rock-style instrumental track. The “jumpsuit” that Tyler mentions in the song is yellow because the bishops that are in the city of Dema are unable to see the color yellow, so Tyler wears it to avoid being seen. In general, the color yellow resembles sunlight and is a reminder that everything will be okay again, which is why the jumpsuit is yellow. “Nico and the Niners” is also about Dema. Nico, according to Genius, is the name of one of the bishops in the city, all of which represent some sort of internal struggle. This song, which sounds upbeat upon first listen, has a darker meaning as the song unfolds. If you haven’t listened to the songs yet, they are available on Spotify now!  Get your tickets for the Bandito tour when they go on sale on July 20 - it’s a show you won’t want to miss!
