Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Call Me Karizma has today released his latest music video for "Black Leather" (out via Thriller Records). Not only that, but fans can also look forward to his upcoming EP 'Bleached Serpent' on September 24. Furthermore, Call Me Karizma will be out on the road this fall in support of the highly-anticipated EP. Speaking on today's release, Karizma shares:
"I made "Black Leather" when I was at my parents' house in Minnesota. I remember recording the voice note for the chorus on an air mattress in my parents' room because my mom had been sleeping on the ground next to her dog who was living his last days and could no longer get up into their bed. I actually wrote the song in about 20 minutes and recorded it that night. Then I sent it to my drummer, Noah, who added some live drums on the big chorus parts. As soon as I sent it to my label we agreed it was a big priority, and we chose to go with the same director who filmed my videos for “Nails” and “Monster (Under My Bed)", Jensen Noen.” Watch the video for "Black Leather" here, pre-save 'Bleached Serpent' at the link here, and be sure to catch him on the road this fall (dates and information below).
