Dark Delirium's new album, ‘New Era’ represents change for the band, a so called “new era” for them.
After David Jakob Ekse left as a vocalist and lyricist, there are notable changes in themes and styles on the album compared to previous albums, focusing more on stories and experiences than mental health. The album is darker, more brutal and experimental, more so than previous albums, mixing up styles and giving an almost blackened feel. With a massive soundscape with energetic and unique riffs, this is an album to be heard! ‘Echo Chamber’ features David on vocals, a song written and recorded before his decision to part ways with the band. The rest is sung by Simeon.

Hundred Reasons are announcing their first album together in 15 years.
The path to the first Hundred Reasons album in a decade and a half may well have taken many detours for the Aldershot quartet as lives, roles and responsibilities diverged but ultimately their route back to one another came as something of a natural process. The creative urge seemingly never left the band - Colin Doran (vocals), Larry Hibbitt (guitar, vocals), Andy Gilmour (bass), Andy Bews (drums) – and their first sessions back together became less about re-capturing the magic of their previous four studio albums, or addressing unfinished business, and more satisfying a growing urge to be creative together once more. They set about fanning the flame of a spark that was never truly extinguished, aiming to capture spontaneity in its rawest form, and later hone and perfect their work with the band’s own Larry Hibbitt on production duties. Consequently, Glorious Sunset is as vivid, exciting, and as fresh a collection as they have ever produced - distinctly Hundred Reasons and full of fire. Lead singer Colin Doran says of the first writing session; “I came away from that session not just feeling closer to the other guys, having not seen them for some time, but thinking the music was f****** awesome. We all looked at each other and knew it was a go.” Lead single ‘Glorious Sunset’ is the perfect distillation of their renewed artistic impulse. Doran’s distinctive, emotive vocal and soul-baring honesty deliver a gorgeous, thrumming ode to grief that reminds us that while the death of a loved one brings pain and the regret of time wasted and words unsaid, it’s vital we remember to celebrate the life that’s been lost. He continues about the single: “When we started writing again it was really important that we did not go back to any material that had been cut previously. It all had to be completely new. We started writing just before Covid and got together sporadically as and when we could to write and demo which was not our usual way. We would normally be in a room together for the most part but this time it was not always possible. Larry and I would write, The Andy and Larry would write and then I would join the session later in the day (I have a day job) but we were all super happy with what was coming out. This was a deal breaker for all as if we were putting out new material it had to be amazing. Glorious Sunset came about from an instrumental idea from The Andy which was nearly complete minus any vocal ideas. The lyrics for the song completely changed from the demo version to the recorded version as within that space of time my mother passed away after a 4-year battle with cancer. She had gone into remission twice previously and it come back again but this time it would be terminal. The title of the song took on a new meaning as the song talks about being relieved that someone you love is no longer suffering. The sunset refers to the light that many people say they see when they die. During recording, Larry started playing around with synths and effects that added more to the song but by the time all the music was recorded, no one in the band knew that the lyrics had changed so it ended up being an emotionally draining session in the studio that day. In all lots of lyrics changed during that time period as it brought on a new perspective which shaped the narrative of the material." “This album isn’t something we felt we had to do. We simply arrived at a position where the music was so good that it was something we needed to do.” Hundred Reasons – Glorious Sunset album tracklist:
The Aces are ready to greet you now, again. It's been four years since the quartet released their acclaimed debut album, When My Heart Felt Volcanic. In those four years, the band has supported 5 Seconds of Summer, X Ambassadors, and sold out their own US headline tour. They are now to continue this success while supporting the Vamps throughout the 12 stops of their tour across the UK this winter.
Universally relatable and yet deeply personal, in 2020 The Aces returned with the confidence only time and true friendship can bring. Their album Under My Influence isn’t just brimming with honesty, but with trust—trust in themselves, as individuals, as a group, and in their camaraderie with their fans. The Aces are the next "it" girls, but not like "it" girls of the past. They are changing what it means to be an influencer and embodying what the modern woman has become. The Aces have developed the ability to connect with the new generation of music listeners. Sisters Cristal and Alisa Ramirez (vocals/guitar and drums, respectively), McKenna Petty (bass), and Katie Henderson (lead guitar/vocals) - all friends since grade school in Provo, Utah - explore growing up and falling in love in the 21st century with candid honesty and endearing relatability. With total global streams surmounting 200M+ and UK streams surpassing 18M+, an infectious new single “Girls Make Me Wanna Die”, and recent stops at Pride Festivals across the country, The Aces are primed to make a big splash into 2023. In celebration of the announcement, the band dropped a new music video for their track "Sabotage". Speaking on today's announcement, Thousand Below commented:
"We're tremendously excited to release "Sabotage" and announce our third album, 'Hell Finds You Everywhere'. We've been working on this project for a long time now and we wanted to make sure we really captured the essence of what Thousand Below is to us while keeping in mind what our fans wanted to hear. Our end goal was to create a record that had the perfect mix of album 1 and album 2 in hopes of getting the best of both worlds of our band's sound, while still telling an emotional story along the way. We wrote & recorded HFYE in the thick of the pandemic and the subject matter reflects that. Everyone went through their own personal battle with depression & maintaining one's mental health in the last few years. Every problem, every pain, every sad moment in life was exponentially harder to deal with given the setting of the world, and we wanted to make an album that perfectly resonated with those themes. Loss in an isolated setting, substance abuse in times with little hope, and loneliness compounding on itself in the darkest of times were all subjects we felt were important to make music about. We hope everyone enjoys "Sabotage" and we're excited to hit the road this November." Prior to today, the band released their music video for "Face To Face" and announced their signing with Pale Chord Music. The band release their third album, Here Is Everything, on 14th October 2022 via Fiction Records.
The last time you heard The Big Moon was welcoming the release of their dazzling second album, Walking Like We Do, back in January 2020, when life was very different. That was a coming of age record, with bold songs for Saturday nights and sad songs for Sunday mornings. So much has changed and continues to change. And in this world of constant change, we yearn for something familiar. Thankfully, we can continue to rely on the unique, jubilant, unassailable bond that sews this brilliant London band together. Another such constant is their collective ear for melody and knack for writing smart, sharp, and infectious alt pop knockouts. Jules Jackson on Wide Eyes: “I was desperate to write a really big, happy song. My soul was overflowing with the joy of something but I was too physically and mentally exhausted to actually string words together and define it and make music with it. In late 2021, I met Jessica Winter who came into my life like an angel and helped me turn those jumbled feelings into a song and I think it’s just a mad snapshot of a time when life just felt huge and holy and raw and incredible. I was nursing a five month old baby, I was barely sleeping, I was losing my hair, I was pumping and sweating and crying and lonely and only just about coping, but amongst all that, I felt a burning love and a new kind of happiness. I guess the world felt innocent again. For a while anyway. “For me, this song feels so personal but when Soph, Celia and Fern stepped in, it turned into something bigger, and it feels like friendship and promise - we have loved every minute of being back together and doing what we do. “With this song I get to spend three and a half minutes in that place, and that time, and I’m so glad I have it and I’m so glad I get to share it with people.” Like so many records landing in store and on streaming services right now, Here Is Everything was conceived during the weight and worry of lockdown in a pandemic. Worlds were turned upside down and inside out. Lives became seismically different, whilst every day a carbon copy of the last. So, whilst Covid pulled the duvet tightly up over our heads, it was also the unlikely backdrop to welcoming new life. Vocalist Juliette Jackson might have started lockdown teaching fans how to play guitar on Zoom to help pay the rent (including, to her eternal bemusement, one Courtney Love), but she ended it as mother to a super little human being. Here is Everything documents the arrival of that baby in real time, and the simultaneous arrival of a new mother, full of excitement and fear. Meanwhile, the rest of the band doubled-down in the studio, taking Jules’ embryonic song frameworks and stepping forward as one, revelling in an innate, giddy togetherness and with a clutch of genuinely fantastic tunes. The record is introduced today with Wide Eyes, a pure, uplifting song of collective jubilance. It sounds like a band in top form having the time of their lives against all the odds. It sounds instantly like The Big Moon whilst sounding unlike any of the music that’s gone before it. Here Is Everything was mostly self-produced, with the expert guidance and expertise of CECIL (Self Esteem, Jehnny Beth, PJ Harvey) and the Grammy Award winning producer Ben Allen (Gnarls Barkley, Deer Hunter, and the producer of Walking Like We Do). The Big Moon Live: 12-Oct-22 Kingston Pryzm (Banquet) 14-Oct-22 London Xoyo (Rough Trade) 15-Oct-22 Bristol Rough Trade 16-Oct-22 Nottingham Rough Trade 18-Oct-22 Liverpool Jacaranda 19-Oct-22 Brighton Resident 20-Oct-22 Southampton Vinilo 31-May-23 London Roundhouse The brooding delicacy of The Backseat Lovers latest hit of new music, Slowing Down, subtly heralds the hotly-anticipated return of the band to venues in the UK & Ireland, releasing the track alongside news of their biggest shows to date. With its incessant heartbeat pulse, slowly snaking, crystalline guitar lines and hushed vocals, the third song revealed from the Utah DIY superstars upcoming, second album, Waiting to Spill, is another intensely affecting step on the way to its Fri 28 October 2022 release date on Polydor.
Such is the band’s word-of-mouth rise, memories of the four-piece’s debut London show less than a year ago, wowing a packed 300-capacity Moth Club will soon compare to a night at the historic O2 Kentish Town Forum in front of an audience of 2,300 as a run of seven spring 2023 dates is announced. Alongside the special, tour-closing performance in the capital, The Backseat Lovers play the ornate O2 Ritz, Manchester having played the intimate 110-capacity Gulliver’s pub in the same city just 18 months prior. Renowned for their energetic, heart-and-soul-giving performances, The Backseat Lovers’ runaway popularity thousands of miles from their Salt Lake City home echoes that of their native USA, where tickets for legendary venues on their upcoming home leg, such as Los Angeles’ Wiltern and Brooklyn’s Steel are in sell-out demand. Firebrand performances at last year’s Lollapalooza, plus stadium shows with The Killers and Jack White, still ring in fans’ ears, raising expectations for what lies ahead. All of the newly confirmed The Backseat Lovers UK & Ireland Spring 2023 Tour dates are as follows: Wed 8 March – O2 Ritz, Manchester Thu 9 March – O2 Academy, Birmingham Fri 10 March – QMU, Glasgow Sun 12 March – Vicar Street, Dublin Tue 14 March – Stylus, Leeds Wed 15 March – SWX, Bristol Thu 16 March – O2 Kentish Town Forum, London This sibling trio hail from the US and the band has been tipped as one of the most significant new sounds breaking out of America, having initially come into the public consciousness in their home country via America's Got Talent.
If you haven't heard it yet then let me paint you a picture, a very upbeat and colorful number complete with stunning vocals, drums and a bass. This song explodes out from the first beat until the very end and doesn't stop for a minute. It has a high energy output that leaves you at the end wondering what just happened and instantly reaching to put the song back on again. Listening to the lyrics it feels like the journey of falling in love and the colour of the song seems to echo this - pink/red being the colour of love. The trio are now on their "Happy" Tour and kicked it off in Glasgow with a bang, catch up with the show review and photos soon. "50 Shades of Pink" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQdgzq5iGOc) The Reytons have quickly risen from hometown heroes in South Yorkshire to one of the hottest new indie-rock bands in the UK. A word of mouth sensation, they continue to hit the country with sold out show after sold out show, and with an almost football-like tribalism amongst their fanbase the live shows are quickly becoming legend.
“Picture the scene: fans arm in arm singing back to a band they adore, faces gleaming because of how intensely perfect the atmosphere is. Biblical.” Exposed Magazine The Reytons built on their Top 40 charting EP in February 2021 by smashing an 11th place finish with their debut album ‘Kids Off The Estate’ in November 2021, up against the likes of Abba, Ed Sheeran, Little Mix and Taylor Swift. After a summer of huge support slots and festival shows, including two massive slots with Gerry Cinnamon, The Reytons hit the academies, taking on huge rooms in each major UK city. Philadelphia quintet VARIALS — Mitchell Rogers [vocals], Mike Foley [bass], James Hohenwarter [guitar], Shane Lyons [guitar], and Sean Rauchut [drums] — recently announced their new album Scars For You to Remember. The metallic juggernaut is their third long player and it will arrive on 14th October via Fearless Records. Pre-order it here. Today, the Philly crew has shared the video for "Circles." Watch it here or by clicking the image below. While Varials go hard on their new album Scars for You to Remember, they show off their contemplative and dynamic side with "Circles." The song starts out with an almost melancholic verse before erupting into a larger-than-life chorus with a pulsating riff and percussion. It's a master class in quiet-loud atmosphere, and shifts to utter ferocity in the middle of the song. The song vacillates between many moods from start to finish and that's what makes it wholly satisfying. "'Circles' is a new but familiar style for the band," says Varials. "We've touched on sounds like this before, but this is the melodic climax of the record and our career this far. We hope to take this sound further into the future." Balance occurs in the midst of extremes. Varials seamlessly alternate between moments of crushing power and melodic poise, unlocking harmony in the middle of opposite poles. The band continues to sharpen this signature style with searing intensity, uncontainable energy, and uncompromising creativity. They've carefully cultivated this sound over the years. The band attracted a devout fanbase with Pain Again [2017] and In Darkness [2019]. The latter yielded "Romance," which amassed 3 million Spotify streams and counting. Of the title track, Decibel raved, "Varials have their own modern spin on hybridizing metal and hardcore into a powerful new amalgam." Meanwhile, they hit the road with the likes of All That Remains, Wage War, Oceans Ate Alaska, Kublai Khan, and more. During 2021, Mitchell assumed full vocal duties for the band. After amassing tens of millions of streams and earning acclaim from Decibel, Revolver, and Alternative Press, to name a few, the band deliver controlled chaos like never before. The band will be returning the UK this December supporting Chelsea Grin.

We felt that Face to Face was the perfect track to announce our partnership with PC and to begin Chapter 3 of our band's journey.
