"There comes a time when dreams turn into reality. We have to be careful what we wish for, as anything goes in the land of our creation. The friction of this existence is my deepest source of inspiration. The making of ‘Love Potions’ pushed us beyond the walls of our perceived limitations. This record is a living diary of a band that exists between two worlds. Please be warned that upon listening, you will become a part of a ritual that is in motion. You will be a part of our story. If you’re with us, you must be kind, you must be brave and above all, you must be free."

Hailing from Atlanta, GA, Starbenders are the half way home for misunderstood misfits, fringers and glam punks. Front-woman, Kimi Shelter began working with producer, Nico Consantine (Lady Gaga, Program The Dead) in 2014 who encouraged her to start a band. Aaron Lecesne was the first call Shelter made. The duo were best of friends and had intense musical crushes on each other. The genesis of Starbenders took form. Guitarist Kriss Tokaji, entered the scene in early 2015 after the band witnessed him laying waste to a guitar at a shitty house party in the middle of nowhere. The dream line up crystallized with the entrance of drummer Emily Moon.
The band have already created quite a stir in the media with LA Weekly claiming "It's such a wonderful thing when a new band pops up that is so exciting, so impossible to ignore, that not only do they stand out from the pack, they positively leap out of it and hang off of your ears. Atlanta's Starbenders did exactly that." , a ferocious Audio Tree session under their belts and drummer Emily Moon performing as the guest drummer for The 8G Band on Late Night With Seth Meyers in late October last year.
Open your minds and ready your souls, STARBENDERS are coming for both. Starbenders are
