Their debut single “Nightmare” was released in October 2020 and was featured on Metal Injection and got rotation on SiriusXM Octane. In December 2020, their single “This Heart” was premiered on Metal Injection, and most recently in May 2021, Knotfest premiered their single “Goodbye”.
Led by guitarist Jody Linnell, who is the former bassist of Smile Empty Soul and 12 Stones, the band is rounded out by vocalist Trey J. Mollo, guitarist Emmett Shumate, and drummer Phil Krohn. Originally the project was a solo endeavor, but after about a year Linnell recruited good friends from his regional area to complete the lineup. TRANSIENT is now headed out on the road with Pigweed in July 2021 for The Summer Nightmare Tour to hit a number of dates in Texas and a couple in Louisiana.
